Main Features:

  • High Quality Enhanced Cementitious Material
  • Ideal for use on Concrete, Gypsum Board and Wood
  • Suitable for Interior and Exterior Use
  • Rock Hard
  • Abrasion Resistant
  • Excellent Adhesion

Mixing Instructions:

  • Use clean potable water only in a clean container.
  • Measure equal amounts of water for each batch, approximately 7.50 - 9.50 litres per bag of 32 kilos of Sure-Cote to ensure uniformity. Mix each for the same length of time.
  • Add Sure-Cote slowly to mixing water under agitation and bring to a smooth lump free consistency; approximately 5 minutes.
  • Equipment used for mixing must be clean. A heavy duty drill and mud paddle capable of producing a minimum of 650 RPM under load can be used. Do not over mix as this can rapidly shorten open time.
  • Mix only enough material that can be used in one (1) hour as retempering with water will affect performance of Sure-Cote.

Surface Preparation:

To enhance adequate bond and optimum performance, surface should be structurally sound and must be free from dirt, grease, oil, dust or any foreign material which may prevent proper bonding

Application Suggestion

  • Apply Sure-Cote in two (2) coats. Trowel on first coat sufficiently to straighten wall, but do not trowel smooth. After the first coat sets, trowel on the second coat and smooth to a thickness of not less than 1.5mm or a maximum of 3mm.
  • Joints should be reinforced using a fiber mesh tape to increase flexural strength and reduce cracking.
  • Avoid intermixing batches.
